Britain is open for business to foreign investors. But faced with a complex matrix of regulations and cultural sensitivities, overseas businesses seeking to internationalise their business to the UK need strong professional advice to ensure the journey – for both the business and its migrant employees – goes inwards and upwards.

Instead of issuing vote-catching headlines, the prime minister should be helping the beleaguered British businesses by adjusting personal allowances and scrapping National Insurance for lower income families.
London is already thought to be the sixth-biggest French city in the world, with more French citizens living here than in Bordeaux or Nantes – a fact that should be a sober warning to those who would tax us more and fight moves to cut bureaucracy.
